CME - Endocrinology for Practicing Physicians, 23rd-24th February 2013, Gurgaon
ISBMR and Medanta conducted a CME, “Endocrinology for Practicing Physicians” on 23rd and 24th February at Medanta, the Medicity, Gurgaon, Haryana.
The CME focused on endocrine disorders like diabetes, thyroid disorders and obesity, which are commonly encountered by general physicians. Medanta took the initiative to help practicing physicians manage common endocrine disorders through this CME.
We were privileged to have Dr Pankaj Shah, Chairman, Division of Diabetes, Mayo Clinic, USA as an international faculty for this event. National faculty included Dr Nikhil Tandon and Dr Rajesh Khadgawat from AIIMS, Dr S.V.Madhu from GTB and faculty from Medanta.
This CME provided an opportunity for the delegates to closely interact with these experts. The programme content was very relevant and useful for general physicians, internists and budding endocrinologists, with an emphasis on recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disorders.
