It was better than expected
Too much technical discussion on DXA machine details |
4 |
Faculty was sticking only to evidence. More guideline advice for practical care where evidence is lacking and more advice on diet & exercise. Name should be changed from Osteoporosis essentail to Osteoporosis evidence. |
Attending consultants really need to learn this subject looking from the point of questions asked |
Too much pharmacology.
Statistics were just too much, but from these figures came the surprises which cleared doubts. |
Misuse of investigations DEXA scan / bone turnover marker and use of bisphosphonates at very early age when not indicated in practice |
Most of these we have been following – but by this meeting we will have it better architectured |
Repetitions should be avoided | 2 |
