ISBMR Research Grant in Clinical and Basic Sciences in the field of “Bone and Mineral Disorders”
The Indian Society for Bone and Mineral Research announces two research grants, of Rs 1 lakh each, for clinical and basic research in the field of bone and mineral disorders. This has been supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Ranbaxy Ortholands Limited. The award is open preferably to young investigators in the field. The grant money can only be utilized for research consumables and contingency and not for manpower costs.

Budget
The last date for submitting applications is 31st January, 2012. The decision on the outcome of the application will be communicated to the awardees by 31st March, 2012. Funds will be released only after ethics approval has been obtained from the Institutional Ethics Committee. To facilitate early release of funds, applicants may consider concurrently applying to their institutional ethics committee so that both processes – adjudication on their grant application and ethics approval can occur in parallel.
