CME on "Osteoporosis And Geriatrics", 24th December 2017
Bhaktivedanta Hospital and Research Institute in Association with/Support from Indian Society Of Bone Mineral Research, Mira Bhayender Orthopaedic Society and Association of Fellow Gynaecologists hosted a CME on “Osteoporosis And Geriatrics”. The CME was conducted on 24th December 2017 and was accredited by Maharashtra Medical Council.
The programme was a success with participation of galaxy of speakers. Dr Rajib Bhattacharya and Dr Shelley Bhattacharya from University of Kansas Medical centre as well as Dr Sundeep Ruder from Johannesburg gave enlightening talks.
Eminent National faculty including ISBMR and ESI president Dr Manoj Chadha(discussed osteoporosis in India), Prof Dr Prema Varthakavi, Dr Girish Parmar, Dr Pramodini Shankaran and Endocrine Surgeon Dr Ritesh Agrawal also gave interesting talks.
Panel Discussion was Conducted by Dr Ameya Joshi and Dr Sudhir Thadke. The topics covered ranged from basics of osteoporosis including epidemiology moving on to evaluation and management and then fine aspects of geriatric care.
More than 100 delegates actively participated including orthopaedicians, physicians, rheumatologists, endocrinologists and gynecologists.
