World Osteoporosis Day – WOD 2013

World Osteoporosis Day (WOD) on 20th October 2013 was celebrated in New Dehi by ISBMR with the support and sponsorship of ABBOT and Fitness Fusion

A ‘Walk for Osteoporosis’ was organized at Sanjay Van near Vasant Kunj at 7 AM on 20th October 2013.

Around 200 enthusiastic residents from Vasant Kunj and nearby colonies participated.

Dr. Ranjana Mithal inaguarated the function and Dr. Rajesh Malhotra an eminent Orthopedic gave a lecture on ‘Love Your Bones’ followed by tips on fitness by Dr.Namita Aggarwal.

The lecture and fitness tips were appreciated very well by the participants.
