Osteoporosis Essential Course 2019-Mumbai

We had recently conducted Osteoporosis Essentials 2019 at The Lalit, Mumbai. It was an enthralling experience for all the doctors to gain deeper understanding about Osteoporosis and its recent advances. We had a captivating audience of 53 doctors at the venue.
We had renounced speakers Dr Ambrish Mittal, Dr Rajesh Malhortra, Dr Manoj Chada and Dr Nikhil Tandon.
Various topics like Clinical evaluation of Bone health, fracture risk and dexa scan techniques were discussed at length followed by Q&A session and case study discussion.
The doctors actively participated in case study discussion where the queries were readily answered by the speakers.

“Osteoporosis Essentials” is an international course on Osteoporosis by International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) in collaboration with the Indian Society for Bone & Mineral Research (ISBMR).
The core elements of this program provide a set of standard practices and information to raise the level of awareness and education in bone densitometry and osteoporosis. The Osteoporosis Essentials program covers the latest techniques and knowledge on densitometry and the physiology, epidemiology, diagnosis & management of osteoporosis.
The program consists of 13 modules, designed for those involved in the performance and interpretation of DXA scans and those involved in the diagnosis, treatment and management of osteoporosis.
This year in 2019, Osteoporosis Essentials program will be held as follows:
Hotel (To be intimated later) Mumbai – May 18-19, 2019,
The cost of the course will be Rs. 47,500/- per person – plus 18% GST.- total Rs. 56,050/-. This will include Boarding and lodging for one day , extra charges will be levied for additional days of stay.
