World Osteoporosis Day 2015 - Chandigarh
World Osteoporosis Day 2015 (WOD) was celebrated on 18th October 2015 – Sunday at Chandigarh.
The event was jointly organized by Department of Endocrinology, PGIMER, Chandigarh and ISBMR.
The event had a public forum – interaction between general public and specialists followed by free DXA Scan and consultation by Dietician, Physiotherapist, Endocrinologist and Orthopedic Surgeon.
Around 400 patients attended this event and approximately 190 DXA scan were performed.
The event was well covered in local media.
